RIVER MARKET ART FESTIVAL: REVIVAL
The River Market Community Association, in collaboration with The AI Hub, is calling artists to exhibit their work at the 2023 River Market Art Festival: Revival, a celebratory revival after its 20 year hiatus!
The festival will feature 3 categories of artists, live music and more! We are seeking to engage the public with interactive and large scale art pieces as well as artists booths.
Through a competitive, open-call process, RMCA selects local artists to exhibit their pieces that speak to the theme of "Revival". Take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your work to thousands of visitors of the historic River Market.
CATEGORIES
Artists may submit proposals in three categories, art booths to display and sell their work, interactive art work , and large scale art work.
ART BOOTH
BOOTH INFORMATION
8'x8' Booth Fee: $40
Each artist is provided an 8’x8’ exhibition space, which is assigned by the RMCA & The AI Hub staff. Participants are expected to bring their own weighted canopy, display booth, display racks, lights, extension cords and any booth support materials. The art booths are housed inside and outside of the art stalls in the City Market. Please read the full terms and conditions carefully.
LARGE SCALE
LARGE PIECE INFORMATION
Submission Fee: $40
Each artists is assigned a space by the RMCA & The AI Hub staff. Participants are expected to assist with the entire hanging process and stay for the entirety of the festival. Artists are responsible to bring any additional lighting materials. The large scale pieces are displayed on the outside of the art shelters in the City Market. Submit your captivating interactive artworks and immerse our audience in a world of engagement. In your submission notes, share your artistic vision, detailing the interactive elements, user experience, and technical requirements. Whether it's digital, physical, or mixed media, demonstrate how your piece will come alive in City Market. Please read the full terms and conditions carefully.
